It has been our pleasure to teach sailing after school every Wednesday for the last ten weeks to 14 young ladies from various Guernsey secondary schools. It has also been great to have the support of the Rotary Guernesiais who provided a lovely Trophy for the winner of the Inter School Rotary Guernesiais Sailing challenge.
The winner was Amy Laine from St Sampson’s High School. In second place Elsa Ferneyhough and in third place Kira Totty, both Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre students.
After the race the presentation event was held at the GYC for participants, their families and Rotarians. Thank you for the amazing cake.
